POL ALSINA AND EDU ALTIMIRES CHAMPIONS OF THE DEWA OPEN IN JAKARTA

The first edition of the Dewa Open Tournament concluded with a spectacular final that saw PΛNORΛMIC players Pol Alsina and Edu Altimires emerge as champions of the tournament, held at Smash Padel Simatupang. The pair delivered top-level performances throughout the weekend, culminating in a well-deserved victory in what has become one of the most prestigious padel events in the region.

The Catalan team got their revenge at the FIP Bronze Indonesia II against Miguel Melero and Nicolas Zurita, who had defeated them in the final just a few weeks earlier. It was a thrilling three-set battle: Edu and Pol let the first set slip away despite leading 5–2, but their strong mentality and the high level they’ve been showing in recent tournaments carried them through. With back-to-back 6–4 sets, they claimed the title at the inaugural Dewa Open Tournament.

With players from around the world and four days of competition, the Dewa Open Tournament showcased a diverse mix of talent, from bronze-level players eager to grow and enjoy the atmosphere to Asia’s finest fighting for a 575,000,000 IDR prize pool.

It also marked the first event where PΛNORΛMIC competed in the women’s category, represented by Novela Rezha. Indonesia’s nº1 made it all the way to the semifinals, a clear sign that the level of women’s padel in the country is rising fast.

The victory is a testament to the growing presence of professional padel in Southeast Asia and PΛNORΛMIC’s commitment to developing the sport at all levels.

Congratulations to Pol, Edu, Novela, and the entire team behind the Dewa Open Tournament for an unforgettable tournament!

Stay tuned for more updates!
