PANORAMIC TAKES THE STAGE AT THE PADEL WORLD SUMMIT 2026 IN BARCELONA

Just got back from Barcelona, and our heads are still spinning!

Three days at Padel World Summit 2026 in Barcelona, and the numbers alone say everything: 130+ exhibitors, 56% international, 10 active courts for demos and activations, and a conference agenda packed with investors, operators, club managers, and decision-makers from all over the world. The biggest edition yet, and it felt like it.

We had the chance to be part of the round table “From Boom to Balance: Building a Sustainable Future for Padel’s Global Expansion” alongside Dani Dios (@wmesports), Andreas Karlsson (@matchi_sport) and moderated by Johannes Thomhave (@padel_tv) — a sharp and honest conversation about what it really takes to build lasting markets, not just fast ones.

The congress itself was outstanding. One of the standout moments was Playtomic presenting the Global Padel Report 2026 (produced with PWC) — confirming what we all feel on the ground: 58,300 courts, 19.4 million players, nearly 5,000 new clubs added in 2025 alone. Padel is no longer just a sport, it’s becoming a real estate and investment category of its own.

The Innovation Arena, sponsored by Padel Galis — brought together 20 startups pitching in front of a jury of investors. From the first-ever padel video game to ball pressurizers and AI-powered club tools — the creativity in this sport is something else.

On the exhibition floor, the who’s who of the industry were all there: Adidas, Babolat, Joma, Head, @Skecgers,Mejor Set, Led Projects, Mondo, Catalan Padel Federation and many more. And notable for us — Ayo Padel ID representing Southeast Asia on the global stage. The East is paying attention.

One takeaway PANORAMIC brought home: opening new markets is not easy. But I come back more convinced than we’re on the right path, connecting East and West, bringing the best of both worlds together.
